Fun at the Beach - Vintage Card for Country View Challenges

Hello and welcome today,

we are having a really hot summer here, so I decided to choose a picture from Gecko Galz which shows some vintage Ladies at the beach. I made a card again.

First I made a lace with a silicone mold and light modeling paste and adhered it with matte medium.

Then I colored the background with acrylic paints, highlighted with wax paste and matted my picture with patterned paper. Then I put everything together and embellished the card with tinted cloth, colored flowers, a seashell and a stamped saying.

Oh, one thing I wanted to mention: we had a total moon eclipse this week, it was very impressive! I tried to take some photos of it. You even could see the Mars (it´s the smaller point in the second photo).

Sun, Sea and Sand - Card for Country View Challenges

Hello dear visitors, nice to have you here!

August - the month for vacation and holidays, time for beach and sea, time for travel or for lazy days!

The wonderful Corrie hostes the challenge this month at Country View Challenges and she has chosen the theme: Sun, Sea and Sand (make a summer or holiday themed project).

I made a birthday card for a summer birthday child.

I used the beachy stamp from PaperArtsy (Mini MN04), a granite paint in the color sand, which I have for ages in my stash and one of the new Seth Apter Baked textures Embossing powders from Emerald Creek (Ancient Amber).

For the background I played with two colors of the Infusions powders (Olive Tree and A Bit Jaded) and for the decoration I used collected shells from Italy and 3D Balls and Mini Art Stones.
