The Eyes Have It!

Hello my friends,
This time the theme is "eyes".
I made a card with the super cool PaperArtsy Seth Apter stamp EM39.

I took a kraft cardstock and prepared it with clear Gesso. Then I used 3D Matte Gel and a Tim Holtz stencil to create some texture.
When dry, I sprayed and sprinkled with Lindy´s Stamp Gang sprays (Moon Shadow Mist Gossamer Gold, Starburst Time Travel Teal and Frozen Jack Frost, Flat Fabio Merci Beaucoup Mint) and dried everything with my heat tool.
I stamped the eye 4 times with black, grey and brown Archival Ink, cut it to size, adhered it onto cardboard and grunged them up with the sprays. The same I did with a piece of a fragrance box, which I peeled off and grunged the corrugated surface.
Now I played a little bit with the new matte waxes from finnabair. I scrubbed the white and some blue and green over the rised areas to enhance the pattern.
I altered some chipboard cogs, first with black Gesso, then with the rust pastes from finnabair. The finishing touch built a touch of gold wax.
Time to put everything together!

I glued all pieces on top of a card and added some flowers to make it perfect.

Here are some close ups:

That´s it for today! I hope you like the theme this month and feel inspired to join in with our challenge!

Love, Love, Love

Hello lovelies!
I am back with my second project for our challenge at Country View Challenges with the theme "Splatters, Splashes and Drips" and, although Valentines day is over, I made a trio of ATCs with a love theme.

I took some cardboard in ATC size and glued some vintage paper scraps on top, using Matte Medium.
Afte that I went over with some DecoArt white crackle paint and left it to dry.
I gave the surface a wash with dark umbra acrylic paint and enhanced the cracks even more with some antiquing cream.
Now I took some crackle paste in white and clear and spreat it through the new Shawn Petite Valentines stencils and left it to dry.
Now I enhanced again the cracks with black antiquing cream.
Now I made some drips and splatters with Ecoline liquid watercolor in carmine.
Last I adhered the Tim Holtz paperdolls with foam tape squares and glued down the word love, these are Tim Holtz small talk stickers.
Now I only framed the ATCs with black Archival ink.

Here they are, one after the other:

Now I hope you like my little cuties and feel inspired to join in with our challenge this month! You can win a 20 £ voucher for the shop.

And So The Adventure Begins

Hello all, a warm welcome today!

It´s the first of February - time for a new challenge at Country View Challenges. This month the lovely Teresa is the host and she wants to see Splatters, Splashes and Drips.
I made a card with a rainbow of drips.

I cut a piece of watercolor paper to size and grabbed some of my Ecoline fluid watercolors. I used: Light yellow, Light orange, Vermillion, Carmine, Light green, Deep green, Turquoise blue, Ultramarine deep. I applied a generous amount of each color to the top of the paper, lifted the paper and let the colors run down to make them build drips. Then I gently sprayed some water on top to make the ink run down even more.

Then I took my new butterfly stamp from PaperArtsy and stamped it 3 times with Versafine Claire nocturne using my stamping platform and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.

I set some highlights with white posca pen and doodled around the page with a black PITT artist pen.

Then I stamped the sentiment with black ink and matted the page on black cardstock. Then I adhered it to my card.

I hope you liked my card and feel inspired to join in with our challenge this month!
Have a wonderful weekend!
