Altered Classic Leather Album for C´est Magnifique Kits September

Hallo zusammen! Schön, dass ihr bei mir hereinschaut.
Heute möchte ich euch mein letztes Projekt für den September bei C´est Magnifique Kits, ein Lederalbum in türkis. Schön, so wie es war, aber ein bisserl langweilig. Deshalb habe ich es etwas verziert und es gibt auch ein Video davon. Viel Spass beim Anschauen!

For my last project I altered the Classic Leather Album from the Mixed Media Kit. I will use it to store my little stamps. I made a process video, enjoy! I used the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on, the Mixed Media Kit, and the Flower Add-on.

Layout "Life The Life You Love" für C´est Magnifique Kits September

Hallo zusammen, heute zeige ich euch mein drittes Layout für den September bei C´est Magnifique Kits! Ich habe wieder mit dem Main Kit, dem Embellishment Add-on,  Mixed Media Kit, und dem Flower Add-on gearbeitet.
Hi all, today I want to show you my third layout for C´est Magnifique Kits! For this layout I dived deep into pink. :) The kits contain some beautiful pink goodies, especially the Flower Add-on with some really girly pink flowers I wanted to use! I also used the the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on and the the Mixed Media Kit.

I´m totally in love with these tiny wood veneer pieces from the Embellishment Add On!

The vellum hearts with their transparency add some interest.

"My first day of school" - Layout for C´est Magnifique Kits September

Hallo zusammen,
ganz schnell noch, bevor ich endlich ins Bett verschwinde.
Hier mein zweites Layout für den September bei C´est Magnifique Kits. Das Photo zeigt mich selbst an meinem ersten Schultag. Ich habe auch ein Video dazu gemacht, allerdings ist es nicht besonders gut, muss ich gestehen. Es ist teilweise schwarz-weiß geworden, warum auch immer.

Here is my second layout for C´est Magnifique Kits. I took my photo the first day of school. I used the Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on, the Mixed Media Kit, and the Flower Add-on. I've made a start to finish video, but unfortunately, there are some parts black and white.

Art Journal Page - HERBST

 

Hallo liebe Blogfreunde, schön, dass ihr bei mir reinschaut.

Heute habe ich mal etwas anderes für euch, eine Art Journal Seite.
Vor einiger Zeit habe ich mir das Art Journal hergerichtet (wer Lust hat kann sich das Cover hier ansehen), allerdings sind bisher nur einige Seiten gefüllt.
Heute war das Wetter hier schon so richtig herbstlich - kühle 10° C, Frühnebel, grauer Himmel und einige Blätter verfärben sich auch schon. Der lange, heiße Sommer ist eindeutig vorbei - es ist HERBST!

Today I want to share something different with you, an art journal page.
A while ago I prepared an art journal (if you are interested, you can find the altered cover  here), but until now there are only some pages filled.
Yesterday the weather was autumnal - cool 10°C, fog in the morning, grey heaven and some leaves are changing their colour. The long, hot summer is definitely over - it´s AUTUMN.

Als erstes habe ich die beiden Seiten mit Gesso vorbereitet. Danach habe ich die Blätterstempel (LaBlanche) und den Stempel Silent Night (Stampendous) mit Archival Ink in Jet Black und in Potting Soil direkt af die Seiten gestempelt. Im Anschluss kam die Mini Harlequin Schablone von TCW mit selber gemachter Modelliercreme zum Einsatz.
Nun kam die Farbe ins Spiel.
Ich habe die Farben nach Lindy´s Stamp Gang September Color Challenge ausgewählt:
First I prepared both pages with Gesso. Then I stamped the leave stamps (LaBlanche) and Silent Night (Stampendous) with Archival Ink in Jet Black and Potting Soil directly on the pages. After this I took the Mini Harlequin Template from TCW and my home made modelling paste. Then it was time for colour!
I worked after the colours of Lindy´s Stamp Gang September Color Challenge:

Marigold Yellow Orange
Rudolph´s Nose Red
Café au Lait
Rusty Latern Lime
Caribbean Blue
Azure Sea Asters
Bachelor Button Blue
und noch ein wenig and some
Midnight Rendezvous Raven


Ich habe danach noch einige Blätter auf Butterbrotpapier mit Archival Ink in Potting Soil gestempelt und mit Distress Inks in peeled paint, festive berries und spiced marmalade eingefärbt, ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt. Für etwas mehr Tiefe sind sie anschließend mit braunem Aquarellstift umrandet und mit einem nassen Pinsel ausgeblendet.
Einige Blätter sind mit Staz On Jet Black auf Folie gestempelt und mit Alcohol Ink auf der Rückseite eingefärbt, aufgeklebt und mit Deco Art Liquid Glass aufgeklebt. Auch die Wassertropfen habe ich damit gemacht.
Die Ränder sind mit Distress Ink vintage photo und walnut stain eingefärbt. Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar Akzente mit eine schwarzen Marker gesetzt. Das Wort "Herbst" ist ausgedruckt und mit DI eingefärbt und aufgeklebt.
After colouring the background I stamped some leaves on sandwich paper with Archival Ink in Potting Soil and sained them with Distress Ink in peeled paint, festive berries und spiced marmalade, cut them out and glued them on the pages. For some more depth I used a watercolor pencil in umber and blended it with a watered brush.
Some leafes are stamped with Staz On Jet Black on foil and coloured on the back with Alcohol Inks. I glued them with Deco Art Liqued Glass. The water drops are made with it too.
The edges of the pages I distressed with DI vintage photo and walnut stain. At least I set some accents with a black marker. The word "Herbst" (=Autumn) I printed and coloured with DI and glued down.

Oh, hätte ich fast vergessen: ein wenig Metallic Rub-Ons in Gunmetal, Deep Gold und Colonial ist auch noch auf einigen Stellen aufgerieben!

Layout "Erster Schultag" für C´est Magnifique Kits September

Hallo liebe Blogfreunde! Herzlich willkommen hier.
Nachdem ich in den letzten Tagen mein Bastelzimmer aufgeräumt und ausgemistet habe - man möchte gar nicht glauben, was man so alles hat ;-) - zeige ich euch heute mein erstes Layout für C´est Magnifique Kits im September.

Nächste Woche fängt hier in Bayern das neue Schuljahr wieder an und deshalb habe ich beschlossen, ein Foto vom ersten Schultag meines Sohnes zu verwenden. Morgen zeige ich euch das von mir :-)
Ich habe dafür das September Kit - Happy Place, das Embellishment Add-on, das Mixed Media Kit und das  Flower Add-on verwendet.

After tidying my craft room the last few days - won´t believe how much goodies there around ;-) - I want to share my first layout for C´est Magnifique Kits in September.

Next week here in Bavaria school starts again and I decided to take a photo from the first day of school from my son. Tomorrow I´ll show you the page with a photo of my first day of school :-)
In Germany we have a very nice tradition for the first day of school. The children get a decorated cardboard cone bag, mostly handmade from their Mommy, filled with candy and little gifts, called "Schultüte." All children are very excited to unpack them!

For this layout I used the  Main Kit, the Embellishment Add-on, the Mixed Media Kit and the Flower Add-on.
