Blue-Green Card for a Man

Hello all, nice to see you back here!
It´s time for my second inspiration for this month´s challenge at Country View Challenges with the theme Blues and Greens.
I decided to make a card for a man. I like these color for male cards, I use them very often.

Here is what I did:
I cut some watercolor paper to size and spreat Gesso over the surface. Then I took a stencil and Archival Ink in Coffee and started to build up a background.
Next I took some Lindy´s Starburst and Flat Fabio Mists in different shades of blue and green to color my background.
When everything was dry, I matted the paper to some black cardstock and started with some background stamping. I used the brand new Seth Apter Mini stamps from PaperArtsy with blue and green Archival Inks. All this gorgeous stamps are available at the shop!
For my vocal point I stamped the big circle from a big Seth Apter stamp set from PaperArtsy, this is available in the shop too! I first stamped it with Archival Ink Library Green and then slightly moved with Jet Black Archival Ink.
I toned down the middle of the circle with white Gesso. Because the Mists are water soluble, it mixed to a beautiful light blue. With a palett knife I added more Gesso to grunge everything up. Then I watered the white Gesso down and added some splatters.
I only had to glue down one of the Tim Holtz paper dolls, give him a diecut wildflower into his hand and a stamped wish. I colored the flower with red pearl pen and when everything was dry, I glued it to a card.

Here are some close ups:

Now it´s your turn to make something with blues and greens! As always you have the chance to win a 20£ voucher for the shop!

Thank you for your visit today and have a wonderful sunny weekend!
