Hello and welcome to October!
Fall is in full swing, the trees are dressed in their colorful dresses and the days get shorter. Time for cosy evenings at home!
For the new challenge at Country View Challenges this month the theme is "Autumn colours".
I made a journal page.
I painted the background with acrylic paints Aquamarine, Smoked Paprika (PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics), some Cherry Red from DecoArt Americana and toned all down with some white paint.
Next I stamped the pages all over with the Aall & Create Scripted Hexagons stamp - you can find it in the shop here. I coloured the stamped images with autumn colours using my pastel pencils from Faber Castell (yellow, orange, red, dark blue, pink) and then I only glued some diecut little houses from my stash onto the pages.
The words are from a very old Tim Holtz die.
Last I used some left over leaves from one of my last projects for some more autumnal look.
Here are some more pictures:
Such beautiful pages! I love the autumnal scene that you created with the chalk paints and die cut houses - amazing 😀. Thanks for the inspiration and wishing you a happy October! Hugs Jo
