Hello lovelies,
First of May already - unbelievable!
And of course - new challenge at Country View Challenges!
This time my talented teamy Miriam hosts the challenge and it´s called "Tea party". It can be a birthday theme too.
I made a birthday card this time.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper and glued some leftover strips in different sizes to the left side, vertical and horizontal. Now I took a TCW stencil and put modeling paste through it and let it dry. Then I gave the page a good coat of Gesso.
Now I took my beloved PaperArtsy infusions, this time "A Bit Jaded", sprinkled it on top of the surface and sprayed water on top. for more drama I used some black ink here and there.
After drying I took a script stamp, also from PaperArtsy, and stamped randomly with black Archival ink.
Now I took some gilding wax and spreat it with my fingers over the rised areas of the card. I also gilded the edges. Then I did some shading with a black Stabilo All pencil and activated it with some water on a brush.
Now I only had to stamp my congrats and a cut out butterfly (Shawn Petite collage pack) and glue both in place.
Here are some close ups:
here you can see a little bit better the gilding. Hard to get a good picture of it!
Thank you for your visit today and I hope, you will find time to play with our challenge, as you know, you can win a 20 £ voucher for the shop.
Have a good time, stay healthy and take care!
