Celebrate 100!

 Hello my crafty friends!

Today is a very special day at Country View Challenges - it´s the 100s challenge! Hooray, let´s celebrate!

For my first project I decided to create a page on my little sketch pad.

I am part of the amazing design team since April 2016 - can you believe it! - and I still enjoy it.

Here is my very first project I made for CVC, you can find the post here:

But back to the anniversary challenge.
Because it is a very special challeng, you have the chance to win twice! You can make what ever you want, it can be a card, an art journal page, off the page project, ....

You only have to follow some rules:
  • Make a project inspired by one of the makes from the DT members. May be you want to copy the whole make, may be you feel inspired by the chosen colors or technique, may be you will use the same stamp or stencil - it is your choice, BUT YOU HAVE TO TELL US WHO INSPIRED YOU AND WHAT INSPIRED YOU!
  • THERE MUST BE THE 100 SOMEWHERE ON YOUR PROJECT! .....and we should be able to find it 😉.
  • To get the chance to win a second time, you have to leave a comment on the CVC blogpost and all DT blogposts and find some kind words for their makes.
And this is what I did:

First I diecut some numbers with the very new numbers thinlits Countdown from Tim Holtz (you can find them here) and a old Tim Holtz Alterations die called Typeset. I glued them down with a 3in1 glue. I also glued down some wooden numbers.

After this I painted the whole page with ranger dylusions paint bubblgum pink and dried it completely.
Then I overpainted everything with brown antiquing paint and wiped off the most of it so that only shadows left in different places. To highlight the numbers I drybrushed the edges of the numbers with white Gesso and some silver wax.
After this I cut out a flower and a flower coin and also glued these down.

Now I only had to glue down the little paper doll girl and give her a bunch of flowers in her hands.

Here are some close ups:

Now I hope you want to play with us at the anniversery challenge!

Thank you for your visit!
