Today it´s my turn to share my second project of the "Tags only" challenge at Country View Challenges I made a pretty simple tag.

I used a Gelli printed tag again.

I used a Oldie but Goodie, one of the Silhouetted Women stamps from Dina Waikley. I stamped the woman with embossing ink and heat embossed it with black embossing powder from nuvo.

To make the lady stand out more, I painted the inside of her with white Gesso.

As you can see, some of the lines got lost, so I took a dump cloth to wipe the Gesso from the lines.

Next time I would stamp the silhouette first with black Archival ink, paint the inside and stamp and emboss it after painting. Well, experience!

When I wiped away the Gesso from the embossed parts, I accidentally took away the printed paint, but I think, it´s a happy mistake, I liked it!

Now I took DI festive berries and painted the dress, face and the legs.

For some shading I used DI fired brick.

Next I distressed the edges with DI weathered wood and some black Archival ink.

To finish the tag I printed with Dymo the word shine and added a red rose.

Last I added a red ribbon - done!

Butterfly Tag

Hello and welcome to November!

For the challenge "Tags only", hosted from the lovely Jo, at Country View Challenges, I made a pretty simple tag. I took my Gelli Plate and had a little fun session. This is, what came out.

I made some blue prints in different shades of blue first and diecut the beautiful butterflies from Tim Holtz.

Then I spreat out violet, magenta and light blue acrylic paint on my page and printed it on a tag. Then I put some jeans blue acrylic paint in a thin layer on the Gelli plate, put an old blue jeans on top and pulled the print with my tag. I was so very excited how it turned out (so that I forgot to take a photo, sorry).

When the paint was dry, I gave some modeling paste through a stencil randomly to the tag and put it away to dry.

Meanwhile I made my butterflies. I diecut the pieces and glued them together and glued the butterflies down on my tag.

Now I distressed the edges with black Archival ink, printed the words with my Dymo label maker to embellish the tag and added three ribbons in fitting colours at the top hole and that´s it!

I hope you like my tag as much as I do!

Cat Tag

Hello lovelies, nice to have you here!

Today I want to share with you my second project for the "Cats & Dogs" challenge over at Countryview Challenges. 

This time I made a little dreamy tag with a diecut cat from my stash.

I took a tag and glued a recently made gelprint on top. Then I stamped the leaves and stems with black VersaFine Clair and put also some ink to the edges. Then I glued the diecut cat to the tag. I guess I got this with a happy mail, I can´t remember. Then I drew the whiskers with a black fineliner and a white gelpen. To ground the cat I scribbled some lines with a black stabilo all and activated it with water.

To finish the tag I gave the cat something to look at and fuzzy cut and glued down a butterfly.

I think I will use this tag as a bookmark!

A Little Tag for Spring

 Hello lovelies,

it´s the first day of February and that means - a new challenge over at Country View Challenges!

This time the theme is: "First signs of Spring".

I made a little tag.

One of the first flowers in the meadows are daisies. I really love to see them blooming, it´s a promise for the warmer days to come.

I started with the wrinkle free technique and spreat DI speckled egg and old paper on my craft mat, spritzed with water and dapped the tag in. I dried it and repeated the steps until I liked the result.

For the background I used my brandnew  stamp and used the same DI for stamping. The result is very subtile, but I liked it.

Next I used a Shawn Petite stencil and DI black soot with a brush.

I felt, that something was missing and I used a RubberDance stamp with Archival ink Seafarer.

The little daisy I stamped with 2 RubberDance stamps from the Textured Flowers stamp set. First I stamped the stem and then the flowerhead from another flower.

I colored and cut out the flower and glued it to the tag. I made some highlights with white paint and shaded the ground with a charcoal pencil. Then I stamped the word spring with my little alpha stamps..

Last I added some pearls with blue and green pearl pens and last I threaded some ribbons through the hole on top.

Now I hope you will find some time to join in with our challenge! It feels good to make something spring related - in this times we need some hope for new beginnings!

Tag with Stars

I want to share with you my second make for this month´s theme Stars at Country View Challenges. I used the new stamp set "Don´t Judge" from Visible Image.

Well, I must be really in a christmas mood, because my figure looks like an Angel *lol*
